The
Talent Center’s objective as a media education resource is to give you
as much professional training and practical information as possible, as
economically as possible, so you can be as successful as possible as soon as
possible…
Starting
with the basic class, “How to Make Money in the Media,” in 1987, The
Talent Center has evolved into the Twin Cities leading talent training
source, from starting out to going pro to the ‘big time’… and everything in
between. If you make the most of your talent, it can make the most of you.
Because what it takes to make money in the media is based upon skills that
can be learned. And we teach them.
Basic
voice-over led to advanced VO workshops and then to creating demo CDs.
On-camera training revealed the need for auditioning and ear-prompter
skills. The quality and thus the growing quantity of
instruction dictated bringing on more teachers. People have come from all
over the US and as far away as Japan to take these ground-breaking courses.
And the
bottom line is measurable. Many people represented by local and national
talent agencies started out in our program, including a recent state
governor and more than one local TV personality. But more importantly, many
whose names you may not know but whose voices and/or faces you’re familiar
with, and whose earning from the arts you may be envious of, have been able
to
“Loved the positive passion of the
instructor! Yet he was realistic about the need for practice and
creativity and marketing.”
“One of – maybe the – best teachers
I’ve had.”
“A gifted teacher, one who naturally
promotes curiosity and enthusiasm.”
“The sense of fun was truly contagious.”
“The class was excellent… very
professional.”
“I wouldn’t change a thing!”
“Great! Practical!! Helpful!!!”
